2-3 clovesgarlic, cut into thin slices
1/2cupsour cream
1 tspchicken bouillon
1/4 - 1/2cup cheese, grated
salt and pepper to tast
Instructions
Soak both the lid and the clay pot in cold water (about 10 mins or longer). When done preparing your ingredients, drain all the water.
Arrange sliced potatoes in the clay pot with the sliced garlic.
Mix sour cream and bouillon with about 1/4 - 1/2 c of water. Pour over potatoes and mix lightly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Put lid onto clay pot and place into COLD oven. Turn oven to 420˚F. Cook potatoes for 45-60 mins. You can check, making sure to place the hot clay pot on thick towels, pot holders, or a wooden chopping board. Only open lid quickly. If potatoes are not done, put lid back on and cook for another 10 mins. If desired, place clay pot in the oven without the lid to brown the cheese.
