Plug in your recipe, get your sourdough version.
A helpful starting point, not a hard and fast rule. Every starter and kitchen is a little different, so some experimentation is normal, and these ratios are least reliable for very large or very small batches.
Enter the flour, liquid, and yeast amounts from your original recipe. This tool applies Anja’s standard yeast-to-starter swap: 1 packet (2¼ tsp) of yeast becomes 1 cup of active sourdough starter, with a small reduction in flour and liquid to balance it out.
Results are estimates, not guarantees. Use your best judgment, this is a guideline, not a hard and fast rule.
Read the dough, not the recipe. — Anja
